much of this blog is centered around issues of race and gender. as a white-passing, masculine-presenting female, i'm hyperaware of how i am perceived by others. this is kind of an attempt to sort out my thoughts about my own privileges and how my white privilege in particular intersects with the ways in which i am marginalized. i want to learn as much as possible and i'm always open to input and criticism.
